Drop your photos in, pick one of five styles, type a hook for the first two seconds, and ReelGeek builds a cut list against a tempo grid, gives every shot its own camera move and picks a transition out of each one.
The five styles each change the rhythm, the transitions and the colour grade: Hype is fast and aggressive, Clean is minimal, Soft is dreamy, VHS is a retro camcorder look, and Luxe is slow and cinematic with fewer cuts.
Every frame is composed in Python and piped into ffmpeg as raw pixels rather than assembled from stock filters. That is what makes the harder moves possible: a whip pan with genuine directional motion blur, or an RGB-split glitch with displaced scanlines, cannot be done with a filter chain.
Re-roll produces a completely new edit from the same photos and style, so you can roll it three or four times and keep the best. Quick preview renders a low-res draft in seconds so you can judge the rhythm before committing.
No music is baked in, on purpose. Adding trending audio inside TikTok or Instagram gets better distribution and keeps you clear of copyright claims, so ReelGeek gives you a silent file and lines the cuts up to a BPM you set.
